Saw this great cartoon today and it neatly sums up a lot of proposals. Too many lose sight of what is important to the reader – namely, what are they buying from you, how much is it, how and when do they get it, who else uses or benefits from it and finally what the return on investment is. Answer these and that’s a winning sales proposal! Too much waffle and you will end up confusing the reader and potential customer, as well as wasting your time writing it all.
