Updated Security – Ensuring the safety of our users at all times
As part of our ongoing commitment to the highest levels of security for our users, we will be upgrading our security keys for ProposalGENie shortly from 1024–bit RSA keys to 2048-bit RSA keys. There is nothing to do on your part, this upgrade will be automatic. This is the beauty of having ProposalGENie as a cloud computing application – all upgrades, backups and other IT related activities are taken care of by us.
This change and the timing is in line with industry best practices to ensure the highest level of security as well as convenience for our customers. This change is an industry wide initiative, the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), has recommended transitioning over to the 2048 bit keys by the end of 2010.
